Ministries of Spread The Word
Spread The Word is a non-profit organization which prints Bible teaching books and booklets, and Gospel pamphlets and tracts. Much of our literature is supplied free-of-charge to those who are working with prisoners by way of Emmaus Correspondence Courses. Other literature is made available to the general public, again free-of-charge, as the Lord provides.
We are supported solely by unsolicited tax-deductible gifts from the Lord’s people. We do not solicit funds at any time, as we simply look to the Lord to provide our needs, and as He provides we provide literature to those working with prisoners and others who have a desire to “Spread the Word” concerning Jesus Christ.
The following are some of the ministries of Spread The Word (STW).
Milk & Honey — a free monthly paper containing a variety of articles on spiritual subjects. Currently 6,800 copies per month are sent to over 30 countries.
Publishing — of Gospel tracts and booklets, Bible teaching booklets and books. Hundreds of thousands of tracts and booklets are provided free of charge annually.
Distribution of funds to assembly commended workers laboring in the United States and Canada.
Bible Study Program — The program meets one weekend per month (September to May). 50-70 students attend Friday night and Saturday morning teaching sessions. Housing and meals are provided free of charge.
Transportation — Spread The Word (STW) and a Christian automobile dealer work together to assist assembly commended workers and missionaries to obtain automobiles at reduced prices. STW ministers to workers and missionaries who purchase a car to help with expenses.
Support of assembly related ministries and commended worker. From time to time, if a clear need is know, STW will support camps, ministries, and workers out of its general funds.
